    geforce gst2 pci will work on celeron 466mhz?

    The GeForce2 GTS is going to be avaluable in PCI mode sometime in July. Who and how much, I don't know. The GeForce2 GTS has been shrunk to .18 micron (instead of .22) and requires much less power (about 10Watts) and runs much cooler (some have overclocked it to 260+Mhz with stock cooling).

    Hopefully by then they will be using faster DDR memory (333Mhz is not enough to push 1.6 GigaTexel at 32Bit color).

    hey todd a thx but is a 466MHZ celeron is still powerful for that?

    From what I've read everywhere and what the spooky German Guy from Elsa said @ WinHec, unless you've got a pretty powerful CPu, you may as well stick with a regular Geforce. I felt relieved that an actual cardmaker admitted that you may be better off with an older cheaper card.
