    Promise Ultra66 to Fasttrak66

    Once you've modified it it can you still make it work as a plain Ultra ATA66 or you absolutely have to take advantage of the RAID capabibility. For the moment I have two HDD that wont work in RAID together (4.3 UDMA33 and 6.4 UDMA66) I'm looking forward to buy 2 Quantum LM Plus for a RAID 0 array but meanwhile can use it as a simple controller?

    Tom's Hardware www.tomshardware.com has an article on how to make the modification and what it does. It should answer all your questions.
