I have a friend that has an IBM Aptiva with a flat-panel display. I know that he did not get the normal VGA version, there is so digital connector to go to the flat panel.
I am not familiar with what this "Standard" is called, but in any event, that is what he has.
Now He has a DVD drive and can run on the flat panel display fine.
He is looking to buy a different graphics
card that supports his flat-panel and also
allows him to connect to a TV (Composite? Cable?). He wants to play the DVDs from the
computer and be able to watch them on his big-screen TV.
I recommended that he simply go buy a separate DVD player, but he seems to want a video card instead.
Any recommendations? I am not sure what to tell him since I am used to the normal VGA
interfaces.
