    more ram or graphics card

    alrgiht well with my new comp ( 400 mgz with 32 ram and crappy graphsics card ) my moms not lettin me spend 2 imcuh money so should i upgrade it to 64 ram or should iget a graphsics card? whihc one will be more uself for play games like unreal! thanx see ya

    If you can afford it, I'd suggest skipping the video card for now, and getting 128 mb of ram... 32 megs is just way too little to run win 98 well, let alone any newer games. Maybe after that, find yourself a good deal on a tnt 2, but for now, think more RAM.

    A V3 2000 and another 64 mB of ram would make unreal run nicely. Even with 64 mb of ram you wouldn't experience too bad FPS.

    How much money are you talking. Ram prices are dropping, you can get 32mb for about $35-40 (after shipping at Advanced PC Boost) and 64MB for about $60. The Voodoo3 2000 is floating around $85 (at Buy.com). This could be as low as $120-150, but by the sound of your system you have an E-Machine. You anly have 1 PCI slot for expansion and 1 open memory slot. You better make good use of it. Also make sure you get the PCI version of the Voodoo3, because you have no AGP slot.

    Absolutely buy more RAM!
    I got 64megs, tnt2 and I'm playing Quake3 and Unreal Tournament: getting average fbs...
    So I'm going to buy more RAM!

    First more RAM (plus 64MB) and second new graphic. For games V3 or GeForce.

    In other words you need bouth.
