diamon v770 ultra 800x600 probs

Hey,

I recently got a new comp from gamepc [did a great job btw]and got a v770 ultra. It doesn't seem to want to work in 800x600 on the desktop and in some games for that matter. Anything i have been missing from my months of looking for a solution on the internet? Newly made comp so it has updated drivers. I have looked every where to no avail.

I'm looking for any kind of help.

I am having a very similar problem with the very same card.Can you get your 'DX diagnostic' program to run under W95/98-mine won't even let me run the 'direct3d/draw' tests without crashing! Did you have to set to VGA mode first, then download your new driver from the diamond site?- i can't seem to get the driver to work!

Try www.nvidia.com for the latest 4.12.01.03.68 drivers. Be sure to view the readme file and unload/load standard vga drivers, then update w/new. Hope this helps. I have the same card and it 'flys!"\'

my directx and d3d work fine. still no luck with the vid mode though.
