Quake 3: How do u Benchmark in this game??

Hi, i hear all this bout using games like
half life quake 2 and stuff to see how fast ur sys is. But I dont know how to do it in quake 3 (Can anyone update me?) Thnx

Start the Q3test, then go to game options and select game server. Then hit the ~ key, and type timedemo 1 <enter> then demo q3demo1 or substitute 1 for 2.
