My motherboard doesn't support AGP 2x, but out in the market there are many video cards that support AGP 2x only, so I am just wondering whether those AGP 2x supports 1x too? If I buy a AGP 2x video card, can I still run it in my pc?
Are you saying your motherboard has an AGP slot connector, but does not support AGP(2X)?
Any video card that is labled 'AGP' has an AGP edge connector on it. So to use one, your MOBO must have an AGP slot.... However there are some (AGP) video cards, like Banshee, that do not support AGP 2x..
yes, my motherboard has a AGP slot, but it doesn't support AGP2X, so I just want to know whether I can still use a video card that said full support of AGP2x,such as Mill G200 or Mystique G200
