The Voodoo4 is slated as Feb. 2000. I think they are waiting for their .18 micron chips and are adding some "mistry" features. Also memory prices and speeds are a big limiting factor (the .18 micro Savage4 is looking to hit up to 250+Mhz). At .25 the performance, with the features they originally planned, probably competed with their Voodoo3 sales.
Quake 3 is looking like next month (Christmas at latest).
