    ABIT mobo/Viper 770

    I have a BX6-R2 mobo which shuts down when I try to boot up with the viper in the agp slot. I have tried the viper in another machine, it works. I have tried an ATI card in the agp slot-it worked. OS is Win98. Is there any known issues with abit and TNT cards? TIA

    i had the same problem it was because i had my 366 overclocked to 550 i put it at 366 boots fine....go figure....
