    what is a glide wrapper

What is a glide wrapper and how do I use it? Can I use one to play 3Dfx games on my Diamond Viper 770 Ultra?

The glide wrappers take GLide calls from the video game you are running, and changes them into either D3D or OpenGL, so other cards can run them.

This is just like what 3dfx has done for their MiniGL driver. The MiniGL driver is actually nothing more than a GLide wrapper for OpenGL. It converts the OpenGL calls to GLide for internal rendering.

    Sometimes I wonder...
