savage4 to Rage 128

i just checked out tom's hardware, and his round up of 32 cards and in almost all situations the Rage 128 beat the Savage4 by sometimes quite a lot. why is this? and was it a mistake not buying a rage 128 for $110 CDN and buying a diamond savage4 for $180 CDN?

IMHO, theyre pretty similar cards. Most benchmarks ive seen show them performing similarly. Toms is pretty reliable though, so maybe he knows something we dont. Personally, i wouldve bought the Rage 128 just because of the price tag. Thats a big difference, almost twice as much.
