A couple weeks ago I asked if it was wise to upgrade to a Voodoo3 2000 in place of my voodoo2, I was recommended to wait until I upgraded my CPU and my rig. I have a P233, 64MB. I went ahead and purchased it and have been totally happy ever since. I can now play System Shock 2 with 3d sound on and it ROCKS!!!! I'm very happy with it's performance and the installation was a breeze. I'm glad I made this move, and the cool thing is I can just place it into a new computer later.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear about the 3D sound comment....well I have tried to play HalfLife and other games with A3D on and I always got some serious lag with it, now that I got more graphics power (for what it's worth) I am able to play any game with full sound. Go figure, I guess my processor, the crappy piece that it is, is able to focus more on the sound card than it did with the VooDoo2. I just have noticed a HUGE performance increase and am very happy. Now I am able to fully enjoy System Shock 2 and not have any lag in it...now the last thing is a motherboard/processor combo.
