FINAL REALITY and Direct-X6???

Does FR work with DirectX-6 or is it only designed to work with DirectX-5? I ask only because I can't get it to work on my system - it was working before I installed DirectX-6 which came with my video card driver.

Well it should work w/DirectX 5 and 6.
I have been running Final Reality w/Direct6.1 and it works perfectly..
Have u tried to reinstall ur videocard drivers or Final Reality itself?
What exactly happens when u try to start Final Reality?

F.V. as I was told that it will only work with DirectX 5. Not 6. If you have read F.V.'s website then you know now.

F.R. runs the 2D tests, but when it gets to the 3D tests, it ends the program and I'm back to my desktop. I've tried reinstalling DirectX and F.R. to no avail.

Works perfectly on my DirectX 6.1 system.
