I just upgraded from a voodoo2 to a voodoo3 2 days ago and ever since i got it my games just don't want to work properly. When i run a opengl based game it would start up but then about 6-7 secs later the game would apparrently crash. Have any other voodoo3 owners experience this problem?
you may have some overlaping drivers or something,it may still be seeing your voodoo2 drivers and trying to use them on your voodoo3.
did you install correctly :change to vga/shutdown computer install card reboot install new v3 drivers?
you may also need to go into the registry and delete old v2 drivers: start/run/type in "regedit" go to hkey local machine/system/current control set/sevices/class/then scroll down to display,and you will see -hopefully 0000 and 0001,0000 should be standard vga adapter/and 0001 should be voodoo3/if you find more and there are some that say voodoo2 delete them .
