Is glide important?

Any you can post what your option. There no fight eachother ok.

This argument has been done to death, and I dont see the point of re-hashing it again.

As far as gaming, Glide will rarely be used at all next year. Opengl will also start to diminish in popularity next year as well.

The api of the future will D3D. When DirectX 8 (Fahrenheit) is released, there will no longer be any justification or benefit for using Opengl in games.

Farenheit will be a combination API of both D3D and OpenGL, the best of both worlds hopefully, as long as its implemented properly.
