    Brave Browser

Anyone using Brave browser? I have a question. Every time I launch the browser a second tab opens after my home page and it says "Honey installed successfully" . How do I get rid of the second tab opening?

Did you try and disable Honey?

+1 to that. From what I see, Honey is an extension to the browser, and I would try disabling the extension.

Yup. Did that. Did the Google thing. Tried all the settings and such. Doesn't make sense to me that a second tab automatically opens to the Honey installed page.

EDIT: Found some info. Apparently, it's a known issue that happens with many extensions.

Sounds a little (lot) like malware, "Q". Have you tried running MalwareBytes to see if it picks it up?

Apparently, it was a known issue with Brave. I found a few other discussions where other pages were popping as well. I did receive a notice that an update was available, and since I installed the update the problem is gone. Can marked this one as *Solved*.
