Guess they weren't playing on a %^&*(!@#$%^ console either!

I have the upgrade bug too; my 3930 is getting long in the tooth.
    Asus P9X79-Deluxe, Intel i7 3930k, 16gb DDR3-1600, Coolermaster ST case, Corsair AX850 psu, Zotac 980ti, Corsair Model H100 w/c, Samsung 840 Pro 512gB SSD, Intel 750 pci-e x4 NVMe 800gB, Asus Blu-ray Writer 12x, Dell P2715Q 27" Ultra HD 3840x2160 4K LED IPS Monitor, Windows10 Pro x64

    MSI GS Series GS60 Ghost-003 Gaming Notebook 15.6", Intel Core i7-4700HQ 2.40GHz, 16GB Memory 1TB HDD 128GB m.2, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB, 4.36 lbs, LinuxMint 18.2 Cinnamon.

I always have the upgrade bug. Since 2014 I purchased 4 laptops. I though that moving to laptops would solve my upgrade bug problem, But it didn't.

I have a 2014 Asus ROG G751jl, a 2014 xps 13, in 2015, because of it's infinity display, I felt for the 2015 xps 13. And finally, just before Christmas I purchased an Micrososft Surface Book i5 with dedicated graphic card.

I think, I will sell the Asus and the 2014 xps and start building a new rig.

There is no way a 2ghz console apu will match a good gaming desktop. At lest a desktop, if there is a performance problem, you can always upgrade-it.

I pre-ordered-it at Bestbuy Canada. It will be released tomorrow, however, I asked for home delivery and will be getting it, same as you, next monday. I payed $179.99 CA fir tge CikkectirMs Edition. For that price, I hope that there are not too many bugs.

For the lucky ones who are playing it, you can read their comments (very positive so far, except some SLI bugs). https://hardforum.com/threads/anyone...om-on.1899434/

Ugh just found this comment. 2 days of updates for me!

There are always day one patches - discs are pressed like 30 days ahead of release so there will inevitably be something...especially in a game with a pretty big MP component like Doom.

It's not just a "patch". it's a 45GB or so download to get the full install.

Buying the physical copy gets you the key and the Steam installer pretty much. Then its sit back and wait...
