    Dead Video Card?

All of a sudden the screen has bits of little white dots. Tried reinstalling GeForce drivers but card would only be detected as a vga card. Tried installing vc in another machine and got the same thing. Would this mean the vc is dead? Would appreciate any help.

If the problem is moving from machine to machine with the video card, then yes, the problem must be the video card. (That's assuming the different machines are using different monitors of course).
