    I want to download Firefox

I had it and quit it when it got too complicated with "versions."
I now regret that. (I think)
I tried a couple months ago to install FF on this computer and got something awful called Visual Bee.
Some say this is a part of Firefox.

    I don't know.

Is there a way to download Firefox without getting Visual Bee?

I just ran Microsoft Safety Scanner and no files showed anything amiss.

I use MSE for the virus stuff.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Visual Bee is NOT part of Firefox. That is a malware searchbar.

    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

MSE is not enough. Try using Malwarebytes as well.

I do use Malwarebytes. But isn't that AFTER an infection?
I got Visual Bee when I downloaded Firefox.

    It came with the browser.

MAYBE I didn't go to Mozilla for the download but do you think I could go DIRECTLY to Mozilla and get a clean download?

    Hopefully yes.

I've never had Visual Bee in my installers. I posted the link to the Mozilla site. I don't know where else you would have downloaded the installer where it would include Visual Bee.

The paid version of Malwarebytes has active protection. If you use the free version, you should do manual scans regularly.

    Yes.

I would also install the free version of AVG/Avira AV (at the minimum) as well.
    Asus P9X79-Deluxe, Intel i7 3930k @ 4.2Ghz, 16gb DDR3-1600 Kingston HyperX Memory, Coolermaster Storm Trooper case, Corsair AX850 psu, Zotac 970 GTX 4gB, Corsair Model H100 w/c, Samsung 840 Pro 512gB SSD, Asus Blu-ray Writer 12x, Windows7 Pro x64

    MSI GS Series GS60 Ghost-003 Gaming Notebook 15.6", Intel Core i7-4700HQ 2.40GHz, 16GB Memory 1TB HDD 128GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB, 4.36 lbs.

    I prefer Avast.

If you decide to install AVG/Avira/Avast, then I would remove MSE. You shouldn't have 2 AV programs installed.
