RealTek Audio Chip on ASUS M5A97 EVO Not Getting input Signal

So, I've got the ASUS M5A97 EVO MOBO that has a RealTek Audio chip. Yes, ALL the drivers, and BIOS software is of latest releases, but for some reason NONE of the input ports get any signal. Also, they switch bit rates for no reason. SUX that I can attain all of my MOBO info except my serial number, so they won't help me without it. FYI, I also have a professional Alesis I/O26 ASIO-based audio device that runs fine.

    Please hep me,

Try install the latest mobo chipset driver follow by a reboot.

If still the same problem, check if there is any jumper on the mobo for audio devices.

Try the USB sound card and see if the USB plays the audio correctly, if not correct, the mobo audio controller is faulty, needs repair.

    Hope this helps.
