24.0 is out now and it contains one great new, handy feature that concerns closing tabs .

    Thanks Flash.
    Added information in first post.

I haven't gotten around to thorough testing any of the 2x versions as of yet.
The change in the download window/action drove me batty.
Looked around to have it behave like version 19 but was unsuccessful.

    Tab Mix Plus
You can have complete control of how, when, and where tabs open and close. Firefox is just another browser. But with the right extensions or add-ons, it's your browser.

I just got what appeared to be some sort of Trojan popup to update my fire fox.
The tip offs were the graphics were not quite right and it said that my installed ver 24.0 is out of date.

    So, be aware of this.

Firefox has always had issues since the 4.0 beta. Thus, I went to google chrome.

when I search with my address bar it ALWAYS uses Google, regardless of what search engine is selected in the search bar. It used to be like this, but a recent Firefox update altered it.
