Thumbs up [RESOLVED] Some questions about I5 3570 and AZROCK B75M-DGS R2.0

Hi, yesterday I bought an INTEL I5 3570 (3.4GHZ ivy bridge). with an azrock B75M-DGS R2.0

    PROCESSOR:

    MOTHERBOARD: Asrock B75M-DGS R2.0
    http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75M-DGS%20R2.0/

    MEMORY: 8GB 1600mhz
    http://www.yoytec.com/product_info.p...oducts_id/8852

My questions are, will it be very fast? (first time Intel, previous cpu was AMD phenom 920 2.8ghz 4 cores).

Also, it says, that since that cpu has an integrated graphic card on it, should I throw my NVIDIA GTX 460 for that?

And last but not least, are those integrated audio card "5.1 CH HD Audio (Realtek ALC662 Audio Codec)" better than my sound blaster audigy 2?

    thanks in advance

According to an AnandTech Bench CPU Comparision, it looks like it's roughly twice as fast

If you only do office stuff, web browsing and watch videos on YouTube the integrated HD2500 will do fine and take less power.
However, if you intend to do gaming or work with software using the GPU (Photoshop, Premiere) then by all means install the GTX 460 as it's a lot faster for these cases.

On-board audio has matured a lot over the years, but it's very subjective as how it compares regarded to older high-end sound cards.
I know that my on-board sound now sounds a lot better than my discrete DigiFire 7.1 card (which was comparable to the Audigy 1).

Personally I would try the on-board audio first, and if it does not satisfy you then just install the Audigy.
