Which experiences did you make with the new 3Dnow! optimized drivers for TNT (1) based cards? Give performance increasements in %, benchmarks or anything you have...

I was quite shocked when I installed the latest Nvidia's driver ver 1.88 and the fps for Quake2 was 54fps instead of the usual 35fps. That was some BIG improvement..

I have 350mhz overclocked to 400mhz AMD.
Also, STB 4400 TNT.

Even in Half-Life, the motion was smooth like a baby's bottom.

I have a question, how to find out the frame rate of games like Quake 2/3 Arena,I download and updated the TNT/2 driver v1.88. I did get performance increase but I want to know the exact number of frame rates per sec.

Ok..

For Quake2:

Press: ~ key
Type: Timedemo 1
Type: map demo1.dm2
Press enter

When done, type: timedemo 0 (to bring it back to normal)

For Quake3 Test:

Press: ~ key
Type: cg_drawfps 1
Press ~ again to play the game and watch the fps
