Cyber Monday was good to me. Picked up both a 2.5" and 3.5" external hdd. I'd passed up an online deal on the 3T drive because it was newegg and I was working every day for the next week and could not manage the delivery, but the same deal reappeared on NCIX for Monday, and with them I could just specify pickup at one of their local stores, at my convenience.

I have stayed away from SSD so far. It doesn't mean that I haven't lusted after one, but maybe it would be best for me to wait a while-price will come down, things will settle in. I do best staying off the cutting edge, especially on my business machines, where I can't afford a hiccup that I can't solve quickly.

e.g. Intel 330/335/520 series, Samsung 830 series and Samsung 840 Pro series.
