I have a Celeron 333 (not OC'd) A Micronics c300 LX motherboard, 96 mb ram, SoundBlaster Live!, WD 8.4gb, WD 2.5gb & a Creative Riva TNT 16mb......I can play Quake II, Unreal, Phantom Menace, etc all day & night w/ no problems.......Nothing is over clocked on my system (I even added an extra fan to my TNT).....While running a 2D program I seem to run into problems......Ghosting (Artifacts) in Paint Shop Pro 5.0, eventually it will freeze & I'll have to hit the reset button on my case.....Not even a good ole 3 finger salute will reboot it.......Same thing happens in the rest of my 2D programs......Internet Exploroer, File Explorer.......Sometimes it takes an hour, 2 hours, sometimes 5 minutes, it just freezes.....Alot of the time I will be scrolling down a page or dragging an item across the screen I run into this problem........I upgraded the bios on my MB & Video card.......I first updated my dirvers from Creative for my TNT card & have since changed to the NVIDIA Detonator reference drivers.....I don't know what else to do.......Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do?
Also, I have an older power supply.....Only 210 watts......could this be my problem?
