BF3 looks great. Doom 4 I just read is in the works. Been playing Duke Nukem Forever and after a 13 year wait was a bit disappointed but it still brings back some great memories. The Bioshock games are pretty good as well.
Yes, it does make you think, a few screenshots would help promote the game and keep the followers loyal and looking forward to playing it ?
I notice also over at Gamespot the amount of games that have been cancelled or put off for the foreseeable future, a sign that PC/other platforms are struggling perhaps or just lack of investors at the moment ? It appears that the gaming market is still worth millions but finding investors to invest millions might be a tad hard these days, I'll watch the progress with interest
I have some doubt (or is it just hope?) that Valve won't release HL2 Ep.3 now, and that they might just go straight to HL3 instead. After all this time I think there'd be uproar if they just released another episode-length game, especially using the ancient Source engine.
Newell did also say a while back that they were ditching the episodic format as it hadn't worked as well as they'd hoped. Hopefully we'll hear some sort of announcement from Valve this year anyway. The near-total silence from them since Ep.2 is pretty damn annoying

And finally, for now, one to avoid by the looks of it unless there's a tweak somewhere to add zombies coming out of trash cans and the ability to switch from sweeping brush to a high velocity plasma triple shot auto reload cannon with attitude

Not so much a new game (released on Steam and in stores 07) but Team Fortress 2 is now free. Seems Valve is making so much money from the in-game store that they went ahead and made the game free though as of this year you could pick up a copy for $10 bucks in store and I think it was only $10 as a Steam download as well if you had HL2. Favorite online game for me and the family, heck even my 6 year old plays and he's gotten pretty dang good in the engineer and heavy classes lol. Always fun to tell other people on the server that the engineer whose sentry just took you out 6 times in a row is only 6 years old lol!
