    Excel printing issue

    Hello.

Where I currently work, my coworker has a desktop computer and when she prints (in the same format, same document, same margins, same paper style, format and size) the printing gets too close to the left margin (left margin is 1.9 for left, 1.9 for right), paper size is: A4 (210 x 297mm).

To make it short, If I print in her computer the output goes with wrong margins, if I print in the same printing, the same file and with exactly the same setting, the thing goes perfect.

    What could it be?

Should I reset her excell? (please how)? office 2007
Should I reset any other setting in her computer?

    Windows XP (her)
    Windows 7 (mine) laptop

    Please help.

Odds are there is a little something different in the printer drivers due to the different operating systems... You could re-doing those one machine at a time to see if it helps.

Are the fonts used on the document exactly the same including version?
Is Excel the same version on each machine?
I've seen fonts with the same name vary between Office versions.

I work for a Canon partner and have seen similar issues in the past. As these guys have already said, the issue will almost certainly be different fonts, or different versions of the same printer driver (or even different drivers altogether, unless you're both printing to the same shared queue).
