building my HP computer, need input what to choose

HP Pavilion Elite HPE-480t PC @ Costco.com is the computer I would like to buy, has many options, what to choose?
Would love to have some input there. Like speed, multitasking, NO GAMING,
Might buy a monitor, too, so have to have all the duck in a row for: HP 2310e 23 inch Ultra-Thin WLED backlit monitor.

If using the Customize the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-480t PC as reference,
Due to generally high costs of optional upgrade(s),
I would just get the free 1.5 TB 7200rpm SATA hard drive.
