HP Laptop docking station compatibility

Greetings all -
I was given an HP docking station "Agency Series PR1010", although I don't happen to own an HP laptop.

Does (or is there a way to make this) work with non-HP laptops? Ie: as a "universal" docking station?

If not, two questions:
1) Where can I find the list of compatible laptops
2) Any recommendations for a good place to sell this one?

They are on eBay. You can do a search there. The listings often give compatibility information, although you may want to double-check it for accuracy.
