[RESOLVED] Cannot Read Micro SDHC card

I have a microSD/microSDHC adapter that I then insert into an USB Card Reader.

When I put a microSD card into the microSD/microsSDHC adapter, then the adpater to the USB Card Reader everything works fine.

But when I put a microSDHC card into the microSD/microSDHC adpater, then into the USB Card Reader the card is not detected in "My Computer"

The microSDHC card was working fine.

Do you guys know what is going wrong. Can it be that my USB Card reader only detects microSD cards and not microSDHC cards? Do you guys know if this could be the case?

Sounds like it only works with the adapter, so I'd go with what works.

I just bought me a USB card reader that also reads micro SDHC cards - and it works fine. So I guess the USB card readed that I had, only reads regular SD cards.

SDHC and SD are different. I think that SDHC devices can read SD cards (supposed to be backwards compatible), but not necessarily the other way around. Sounds like that absence of forward compatibility was the issue with your reader.

Ditto, I have an older Kingston TravelLite USB card reader that can only read older SD cards, an SDHC card will not be detected at all.
