    Thumbs up [RESOLVED] Old Asus motherboard

    Trying to upgrade the memory. It has two 256 mb (pc133) Does anyone know how I would identify the board? It has an intel pentium 4 There is a number on the board-IMWN14336769 AA A64181-203

    Question how would I identify old asus motherboard?

    Have an old asus board and lost the papers? Any tool to use? Or way to find out the board. It works fine. Trying to upgrade the memory. it has IMWN14336769 AA A64181-203 on the green board.

    There are many applications that you can get for free that might be able to give you the model number....Google-> EVEREST is a good app.

    Get Belarc advisor, http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html , it's a very small app. that will tell you the motherboard being used in your computer.

    The model should also be printed right on the mobo near the PCI expansion slots as well.

    Smile It was an asus motherboard with an Intel 4 processor

    So I went to intel and downloaded a free app that told me what model was. It does not print but showed me the model. Then did a search and found the correct memory. This is an old asus board.
