Big screen TV as your monitor?

Has anyone tryed one of these new video cards (i.e the ATI Rage Fury) with the TV output sent to a big screan TV?

I'm very curious of the picture quality. Can you type a letter in MS word and see the text clearly on your Big Screen TV?

Tried it on my Banshee and it is limited to 800*600. Don't know about other cards though - I think it's about the same.

Pic Quality is okay. No way near as good as a monitor, but readable.
