    Can I have different HDD types in my MOBO?

    I already have 2 HDD P-ATA (IDE) and 1 DVD-ROM P-ATA (IDE).
    Can I put 1 more HDD (S-ATA)? at the same time with the other HDD? or Must I use all of the same type?


    by the way the MOBO is an ASUS M2V.

    you can have SATA and IDE hard drives on the same system. Make sure you have the correct boot order in the bios, though.
