    Thumbs up [RESOLVED] HP DVD Writer

    Hi,
    I have a HP DVD writer. It has been working fine for 7 to 8 months but now it cannot read dvds which I write. It can read dvds which i get from Digit Magazine as it has silver coating. May be it cannot read the bluish coating.
    I have given it to a mechanic for head cleaning but it didnt help. What to do now?

    Try a different batch of media, but when that doesn't help replace the drive. With any luck it had a 12-month warranty.
