As promised, the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars demo is now available. The 727 mb download includes the Valley map, which you can play online or against bots. Windows server administrators can download this file to run a dedicated server. For you Mercury subscribers with download accelerators, the demo is on our Quicksilver file server.

Also, a special note for ATI Radeon owners, as they will need an updated driver to run the game.

My neighbor was a pre-beta tester, and he said it's very good. You basically pick a player specialty and build your skill level. This causes you to add special abilities and allows you to play with people of equal skill. That should help keep people like me from getting completely owned by 3rd graders.
Give what you cannot keep to gain what you cannot lose.

Don't you mean 3rd graders who can't type? I almost never see kids who can type online, and who dont just cuss to sound cool. It's one of the reasons I never have even played World of Warcraft

Bought the full version on Ebay for $32.99 - Excellent game
I have played Gears of War & Combat 4 on XBox360 and this new Quake looks very similar and plays much the same. Of course it was a Christmas present so I had to put it back in the box for now.
