Video Card for Photoshop and some Gaming?

    Hey All....

I admit it I'm a certifiable Photoshop nut and I have just about finished building a new system. The only parts that I have yet to choose/purchase are the all important Video Card and a Sata DVD Burner/Drive.

I do a completely insane amount of photoshop work but on occassion I take abreak form reality and play the latest and greatest game on my pc so I need a card that is good enough to play some of the latest gaming adventures.

Here are the basics of my build now.

    - ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
    - Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Conroe 3.0GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6850
    - CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) **Installed 2 Kits for a total of 4 GB**
    - Antec TPQ-850 ATX12V / EPS12V 850W Power Supply
    - Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
    - Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Ultimate

Anyone have any Suggestions on what Video Card I should get?
or even a SATA DVD Burner/Drive?

How much are you willing to spend? The 8800 GTS is the best deal at the moment, but it's still a $300 card. Below that the choices get a little tougher.

$300 for a Nice Card is not a big deal to me.....I would say ok or less if that will suffice....

Actually, the 8800GT was just introduced, and it's both cheaper and faster than the 8800GTS. Keep an eye out for that model and scoop one up. Chances are they will be in very short supply, as they are underpriced for what you get!
