[RESOLVED] Can I upgrade to a better NVIDIA graphics card on my laptop?
Hey guys
I would like to upgrade my current NVIDIA graphics card on my laptop.
I have an HP Pavilion dv6645us laptop with a NVIDIA Geforce Go 7150M graphics card. This graphics card is not very good for gaming.
What would be the best NVIDIA graphics card I could upgrade to on my HP laptop?
Would it be possible to upgrade to a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX? Or maybe a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX? What about heat issues?
Thanks very much in advance!
My laptop specs are:
15.4" WXGA high-definition screen
2 GB DDR2 SDRAM (max upgrade 4 GB RAM)
AMD Turion 64x2 1.9 MH processors (2 64bit processors)
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit)
NVIDIA Geforce Go 7150M graphics card (64 MB)
160 GB Hard Drive
Dimensions: L 14.05" x W 10.12" x Height 1-1.69", Weight - 6.14 pounds
Laptop Release Date: Oct 7th, 2007

you can't upgrade the laptop video on that model. most laptop video is not upgradeable. it would have to have a MXM or similar slot.
