[RESOLVED] DVD Roms not working
As some of you might remember, my computer suffered a lot of damage from a power surge. Replacing the PSU, Mobo, and CPU has rectified most of the problems. However, my DVD roms still will not function.
They are recognized in the BIOS and device manager, but this is what device manager has to say about them:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
I tried buying a brand new DVD rom drive, but the moment I put it in, it came up with the same error. I also tried heading to the mobo manufacturer website, but I have no clue what driver I'm looking for there.
