AMD K6-2 350 + AsusP5a+i740

I am having problems with my system freezing randomly which I think may be down to the i740, it sometimes freezes when I am scrolling down the forums on this site or sometimes during games, although strangely this happens when I play 3Dfx games using my voodoo2.
I am wondering if I would be better off going for a pci card instead of the i740 as I have heard that there are problems with the AGP port on the Ali chipset.
I have tried all different BIOS settings but nothing seems to make any difference.
Advice would be appreciated.

YOUR HAVING A PROBLEM CAUSE THE I740 CARD IS AN INTEL AND SOCKET 7 BOARDS HAVE CONFLICTION, THE WAY TO GO IS GOING FOR A RIVA TNT CAUSE AMD JUST REALEASED DRIVERS FOR THEM AND THE STATS ALREADY SHOW THEM KICKING P2 350 *** WITH THE SAME HARDWARE,SO GO FOR THE TNT BUT DO SOME REASEARCH ON WHICH COMPANY TO BUY A CARD FROM
