    need help ID bad drive on server 2003

    Help! I have an Adaptec 2000S controller on a windows 2003 server. I have 4 drives and an alarm going off. How can I find out which drive is bad?

    The controller should have come with software that will help you ID the drive. If the drives are in hot-swap enclosures then you should be able to flash the individual LEDs on demand, otherwise you'll be tracing cables or checking drive IDs.
