my computer isnt recognizing my dvd drive ive looked up the driver and got the bio and everything it just not being recognized it was recognized when i first set up the computer just now i can only use my cd drive burner its a samsung SD-616t

Double check the jumper settings for both the drives.
and
If they're sharing same ATA cable,
Connect the one configured as Master at the end of the ATA cable
and
One configured as Slave to the one in the middle.
