    Floppy Cables

    I believe for IDE cables there are two types. One with 40 pins and 40 wires and another with 40 pins and 80 wires.

    Are there different kinds of floppy cables? Or has there only been one cable for older and newer motherboards?

    there is only one kind of floppy cable. 34 pin and that's it.
