    use seagate 320GB as external issue

    hardware -> device manager -> detect disk drives "ST"

    Disk Management didn't detect any disk for format or map to a drive letter...


    anyone help?!

    Welcome to the forum.

    Make sure that the drive is partitioned. You may need a boot disk to do that, and if need be you can get one at www.bootdisk.com
