Well, it's under the Compaq label, but the notebooks are very cheap! You can get a decently configured X2 for about $1000. A very big peculiarity that I noticed is that HP lists 2 Turion X2 CPUs. Both operate at 1.6ghz, but one has 256kb L2, while the other has 512kb. I don't know if that's total L2 for the entire CPU, or if each core has this amount. Either way, they aren't very impressive CPU specs. I figured AMD would offer something with a little more kick. I guess for the price, it's not a bad deal, but I wonder how it will perform?
