Help with setting up wireless internet on xda mini s

I just got a xda mini s and I'm trying to set it up so that I can get wireless internet on it (using wifi), but I can't seem to figure it out as there are so many options that I get confused. I would be grateful if someone could give me a step by step guide in how to set it up or a link to a website that gives a guide on how to set it up on this phone.

Also, does anyone know if I get charged if I use the phone internet if I'm connecting via wifi?

Mornin,

You wont get charged for using the internet if your connected by wifi an your wifi connection has the internet!

As for the settings on wifi, which ones are you stuck with?
Do you know all the settings for your wifi connection?
i.e. ssid, wep/wpa code?
