HP Laptop Memory
I recently bought an HP dv5000z laptop w/ 1GB (2 GB max) and would like to know which type of memory I would need to buy if I decide to add more.
The processor is and AMD Turioun-64 1.79GHz/ 512KB L2 Cache
Thanks.

I see that you already have 1 Gig of RAM. The configurators usually tell you this, but it is likely that you have two RAM slots. I don't know whether your machine came with a 1 Gig chip or 2-512's. If the latter, you will have to free up a slot, and if so, that will affect your net gain.

To add more you would have to buy 2 x 1 GB Sodimms.
That will cost quite a lot as LT memory isn't cheap.
