    Lex2004,

Sorry for the late response. Anyway as others have pointed out, Raid 0 is striping, so what I did is this. I put my two 74 gig raptors in a Raid 0, which gives me around 140 gig. Then when I installed windows I partitioned what windows thinks is one hard drive into two. I have my C drive, which I made 30 gig, with only the operating system, Office, Anti-Virus and Spyware prevention programs on it. The D drive has ALL my programs and games installed. THEN I have a 300 gig Maxtor that I use for storage. On that, I have all my important stuff, such as my email PST, pics, files and what not. It is all really preferance. But then computers are my hobby. I have 4 desktop systems that I built, one for me, one for the wife, and one for each of my boys (14 and 15) Then my laptop that I use when I go on trips (I am in the Air Force and travel quite a bit) Anyway I back up the more important files. I am a gamer, so of course my gaming rig is my pride and joy. I love it. Anyway the Raptors in a RAID have worked very well for me. I hope this answers some of your questions.

sjracer- considering that you have the 300g maxtor as a constant backup, i like the way you run the two raptors. for me, i would install most of the programs onto the main partition. for one many programs like to be on C: drive and also, after a windows format you need to reinstall everything anyway for the registry entires.

games are different though, i almost never see a game that needs registry entries to run. i havent seen starforce game without a full install though....
