quick question about pcie cards

i want to link 2 pcie express cards at present i have a sparkle 6600gt 128mb card and want to add another
unfortunatly they are not available anymore however i can get a powercolor 6600gt 128mb card same gf chip just branded diff
my question is has anyone run 2 mixed brand pcie cards without any prob i cannot see why it will be a problem however i want to make sure before investing in the second card

yes you can, but you need to use the 8x series drivers. read the release notes:
