    SATA I and II in the same machine. Will they work?

    Can SATA II drives run along side a SATA I with out a RAID setup?

    ABIT AV8 Mainboard using on-board Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio controller

    If your drives are compatible with the SATA controller you should have no problem. Check the HDD mfg's website if you're not sure.
