What new FPS' are out there?

I need a new PC game!!!!

I have played through HL2, Far Cry, Doom3, and FEAR many times already and need to move on. These style of games is what I am looking for and I honestly do not see anything (that is new) which resembles this style.

Is it just me or nothing like them has been released for the PC in months?

    Suggestions anyone?

Quake 4 is worth it; I just D3 in the bargain bin @ Compusa...

Serious Sam 2 is also good (if you like to kill *a lot* of baddies @ once).

I should have added to my list that I also played through all of the COD and MOA games as well as UT 2004.

I guess I will look into Quake 4 and Condemned (Serious Sam 2 bored me).

I am patiently waiting for the Far Cry sequals, Halo 2, and Crysis to hit the PC world.

If someone asked me the same question I just did, I would have thrown Clive Barker's Undying at them although it is almost 5 years old, I really enjoyed it.

If you're not prejudiced by rather dated graphics, and want to play one of the best games ever made, give Deus Ex a try.

    It's available in the UK for £5 now - that's about $10.

this is still my favourite game, the story and sheer depth of the game lift it above Far Cry and HL/HL2, IMHO

    Been there done that

Played through that game may times when it first came out because of the different endings

It is a very good game.......the sequal was not so hot though.

no, the sequel was a big disappointment. It was touted as the first truly non-linear game, but the myriad of different choices you could make just made it confusing for me.

The graphics looked nice at the time, but performance was awful. If I turn all the detail up, it still chugs on even my current PC, even though the game is now two years old.

The interface was horrid too, chiefly because it had to be designed to be console-friendly (it was released simulataneously on PC and PS2, IIRC).

Take a look at "Call Of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of The Earth". It's a new FPS bases on H.P. Lovecraft's fiction. It's been out for a week or two in the UK, but I'm still waiting for it here in the US. I can't wait to try it out.

I just got ahold of a copy of Condemned. wow! the graphics are simply spectacular, and the game actually runs smooth like it is supposed to! (having bad luck with buggy games lately)

The gameplay it self is a little basic i think, i cant even find a jump button. basically you just hit 'action' for any special thing you need to do. there are good fighting moves though. The story line is good and the visuals are stunning. Plays much smoother then fear did, it seems like the visuals went up while the power demand went down. These guys making these fear/condemned games are on top of their game right now.

Cool - might check it out.

I honestly cannot wait for Crysis and Gears of War.

Keep your eye on S.T.A.L.K.E.R., too. It should be out near the end of the year, although the developers seem to have adopted some bad habits from the DNF team... I think it's going to be a blockbuster. Oh, and "SIN" has actually been ressurected (anybody remember SIN?), and will be released via STEAM very soon: it may even be available for preloading now. "SIN" was an excellent FPS from the Quake II era, and is still one of my faves.
